En otras palabras, los alimentos en el mundo, en promedio, son 16.7% m\u00e1s costosos que hace un a\u00f1o atr\u00e1s.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><span style=\"font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif;\">Seg\u00fan como lo define la FAO, el \u00cdndice de Precios de los Alimentos consiste en el promedio de los \u00edndices de precios de los cinco grupos de productos b\u00e1sicos (cereales, aceites vegetales, az\u00facar, carne y productos l\u00e1cteos), ponderados con las cuotas medias de exportaci\u00f3n de cada uno de los grupos durante el per\u00edodo 2014-16.
