Como se aprecia, en el 2004 hubo una reducci\u00f3n de 13.7%, mientras que en el 2009 fue de 7.2%. Tambi\u00e9n en el presente a\u00f1o tambi\u00e9n se registra una reducci\u00f3n en las importaciones de petr\u00f3leo y sus derivados, la cual es del 6%.&nbsp;En CREES hemos analizado la relaci\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica que ha mantenido el consumo de energ\u00eda, medido por medio del consumo real de combustibles, con respecto al nivel de crecimiento econ\u00f3mico del pa\u00eds. Una ca\u00edda en el volumen de combustibles importados, una variable real que permea todas las actividades econ\u00f3micas, formales e informales, es un reflejo de que el nivel de crecimiento de la econom\u00eda general est\u00e1 siendo afectado.(Ver: <a href=\"http:\/\/crees.org.do\/es\/art%C3%ADculo\/actividad-econ%C3%B3mica-en-2013\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Actividad Econ\u00f3mica
