Como se observa, el pago de intereses como % de los ingresos tributarios promedio en Am\u00e9rica Latina ha disminuido durante el per\u00edodo observado: pasa de 16.9% en 1997 a 12.5% en 2014. En contraste, en la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana y en Brasil el pago de intereses se ha incrementado desde 1997 hasta 2014. La Rep\u00fablica Dominicana ha registrado un acelerado y constante crecimiento del pago de intereses como porcentaje de sus ingresos tributarios, al punto que en 2016, seg\u00fan el Proyecto de Ley de Presupuesto del pa\u00eds, tendr\u00e1 el mismo monto que registr\u00f3 Brasil en 2014, a\u00f1o previo a estallido de la crisis fiscal de ese pa\u00eds. En los \u00faltimos meses Brasil ha experimentado un incremento de su d\u00e9ficit fiscal y una reducci\u00f3n de los ingresos estatales, lo que ha llevado al gobierno a recortar sus gastos. En adici\u00f3n, la clasificaci\u00f3n de riesgo otorgada al pa\u00eds por Standar and Poor&rsquo;s fue reducida, haciendo m\u00e1s costoso para ese gobierno el endeudarse, lo que pone a\u00fan m\u00e1s presi\u00f3n sobre las finanzas p\u00fablicas.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"pvc_stats all \" data-element-id=\"19348\" style=\"\"><i
