Con la informaci\u00f3n disponible a 2015, se calcul\u00f3 el gasto per c\u00e1pita de los poderes judiciales en Am\u00e9rica Latina. Este indicador cuantifica, en promedio, el gasto p\u00fablico por habitante para que el Poder Judicial lleve a cabo sus labores. Con un gasto per c\u00e1pita de US$11.84, la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana se encuentra por debajo del promedio regional (US$33.52 per c\u00e1pita), quedando como el cuarto pa\u00eds de la regi\u00f3n con menor gasto per c\u00e1pita del Poder Judicial. Es importante resaltar que, de asignarse al Poder Judicial el presupuesto establecido por la Ley 194-04 de al menos el 2.665% de los ingresos internos, el gasto per c\u00e1pita del Poder Judicial hubiera sido de US$23.43, casi el doble de lo actual en un 97.9%.
