Al comparar los per\u00edodos, se observa que la IED en el pa\u00eds aument\u00f3: la IED recibida en enero-junio de 2016 fue un 8.% (o US$81.3 millones) mayor a la recibida durante el mismo per\u00edodo en 2015. Si observamos la IED como un porcentaje del PIB nominal, tambi\u00e9n se verifica su aumento: pasando del 2.90% del PIB en enero-junio de 2015 a el 3.13% durante enero-junio de
