El pa\u00eds no solo necesita reformas estructurales para hacer que el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico sea inclusivo, como plante\u00f3 el representante en el pa\u00eds del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, Miguel Coronado, sino tambi\u00e9n institucionales, afirm\u00f3 ayer el vicepresidente ejecutivo del Centro Regional de Estrategias Econ\u00f3micas Sostenibles (CREES), Ernesto Selman.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Entre esas reformas figuran la el\u00e9ctrica, la fiscal, la laboral y de transporte, las cuales reducir\u00edan los costos de hacer negocios en el pa\u00eds, dijo Selman.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Plante\u00f3 una serie de reformas institucionales para reducir la inequidad y el ingreso en el pa\u00eds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Explic\u00f3 que eso debe ir de la mano de reformas en el campo judicial.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Selman resalt\u00f3 la importancia de la seguridad jur\u00eddica y del respeto a los contratos, de la eliminaci\u00f3n de la corrupci\u00f3n y la impunidad.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Explic\u00f3 que tanto las reformas estructurales como las institucionales deben hacerse de manera simult\u00e1nea y as\u00ed se pueda vender una nueva Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en el mundo, a fin de atraer m\u00e1s inversiones.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lament\u00f3 que el pa\u00eds ha desperdiciado muchos a\u00f1os sin hacer cambios profundos en el quehacer econ\u00f3mico.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Consider\u00f3 que una sociedad que busca desarrollarse en base el gasto p\u00fablico y la deuda gubernamental se enga\u00f1a a s\u00ed misma.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Los casos de corrupci\u00f3n e impunidad son alarmantes en el pa\u00eds, lo cual no crea un ambiente propicio para atraer inversi\u00f3n sana y crear empleos productivos”, dijo Selman.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
