La confianza que sienten las personas sobre la estabilidad de sus ingresos incide en sus decisiones econ\u00f3micas como su comportamiento de gasto y, por lo tanto, sirve como un indicador, entre varios, para tratar de comprender el curso futuro de la econom\u00eda. La Encuesta de la Universidad de Michigan sobre el \u00cdndice de Sentimiento del Consumidor es una encuesta mensual de los niveles de confianza del consumidor en los Estados Unidos.
