Sin embargo, los resultados de pruebas internacionales demuestran lo contrario.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los resultados en lectura de los estudios TERCE y ERCE para estudiantes de 3er grado muestran una ligera mejor\u00eda entre los a\u00f1os 2013 y 2019. Sin embargo, en el \u00faltimo estudio, solo el 15% de los estudiantes dominicanos evaluados cumpl\u00eda con el desempe\u00f1o m\u00ednimo esperado en lectura. Este resultado ubicaba a Rep\u00fablica Dominicana como el pa\u00eds con peor resultado en lectura de la regi\u00f3n. En cuanto a matem\u00e1ticas, solo 20 de cada 100 estudiantes de 3er grado cumpl\u00eda con el desempe\u00f1o m\u00ednimo esperado.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De igual forma, los resultados para los estudiantes de 6to grado muestran una ligera mejor\u00eda, sin embargo, solo un 16% de los estudiantes dominicanos cumpl\u00eda con el desempe\u00f1o m\u00ednimo esperado en lectura.
