Esto represent\u00f3 un 57.9% de la fuerza laboral en este periodo; una cifra que super\u00f3 el 54.8% del \u00faltimo trimestre de 2019 en 3.1 puntos porcentuales (137,891 informales m\u00e1s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Seg\u00fan los datos, la mayor parte de los trabajadores que pasaron a la informalidad se ubican en las categor\u00edas de empleado privado y cuentapropista del sector informal. En comparaci\u00f3n con el periodo de referencia, los informales en estas categor\u00edas aumentaron en 55,703 y 50,323 trabajadores, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hist\u00f3ricamente, la informalidad en la econom\u00eda dominicana ha sido un fen\u00f3meno estructural relacionado con los altos costos vinculados al sistema tributario y a la legislaci\u00f3n laboral del pa\u00eds.
