Solo superado por Costa Rica. Esta informaci\u00f3n proviene del \u00faltimo informe estad\u00edstico semanal disponible del Comit\u00e9 de Cooperaci\u00f3n de Hidrocarburos de Am\u00e9rica Central.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los impuestos para la gasolina premium (la m\u00e1s utilizada en el pa\u00eds) se ubicaron en un 34.5% del precio total; es decir, dentro del precio total que paga el p\u00fablico por consumir gasolina premium un 34.5% son solo de impuestos. Para la gasolina regular es un 33.2%. Para el gasoil \u00f3ptimo el impuesto representa el 25.5% del precio total. El resto del precio est\u00e1 compuesto por el costo del combustible, representado por el precio de paridad de importaci\u00f3n (PPI) y por los m\u00e1rgenes de comercializaci\u00f3n, que abarcan el margen del distribuidor, del detallista y la comisi\u00f3n de transporte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los impuestos a los combustibles mostrados en el gr\u00e1fico se dividen en: impuesto selectivo al consumo espec\u00edfico por gal\u00f3n e impuesto selectivo ad-valorem de 16% para los tres combustibles analizados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo, cabe se\u00f1alar que hay un impuesto adicional incluido en el PPI, el del fondo especial para el desarrollo vial y renovaci\u00f3n del parque vehicular equivalente a US$ 0.04 por gal\u00f3n en la semana analizada, y un gravamen indirecto adicional que es el gasto administrativo por ley equivalente a US$0.03 por gal\u00f3n para los combustibles l\u00edquidos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sale a relucir la necesidad de una transformaci\u00f3n impositiva que presente nuevas alternativas para los consumidores como la reducci\u00f3n del impuesto por gal\u00f3n de combustibles, una transformaci\u00f3n al impuesto selectivo y sustituir el impuesto ad-valorem por un impuesto al valor agregado (ITBIS). Estas medidas permitir\u00edan reducir los costos de transporte a los ciudadanos.
