Esto representa un margen de venta de 0.82 centavos, significativamente menor al margen registrado en el mismo periodo de 2024, cuando la diferencia entre compra y venta fue de 1.71 centavos por kWh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este estrechamiento del margen complica a\u00fan m\u00e1s la situaci\u00f3n financiera de las EDE. En 2024, incluso con un diferencial m\u00e1s amplio, las distribuidoras requirieron transferencias del gobierno central por m\u00e1s de RD$105 mil millones para sostener sus operaciones. Con un margen actual m\u00e1s reducido, y con p\u00e9rdidas del orden del 40%, las transferencias podr\u00edan ser mayores.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A la diferencia entre el precio al que las EDE compran la energ\u00eda y al que la venden se le conoce como margen de venta; mientras mayor sea este margen, m\u00e1s recursos tienen para cubrir costos operativos y p\u00e9rdidas. Sin embargo, este ingreso no ha sido suficiente para revertir la dependencia de transferencias estatales, reflejo de un modelo operativo ineficiente y de altos niveles de p\u00e9rdidas de electricidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para avanzar hacia un sistema el\u00e9ctrico m\u00e1s sostenible y menos dependiente de los contribuyentes, es fundamental introducir reformas que permitan una fijaci\u00f3n de tarifas m\u00e1s transparente y vinculada a los costos reales del servicio, junto con una mejor gesti\u00f3n administrativa y comercial para reducir costos y p\u00e9rdidas.
