En comparaci\u00f3n con 2024, el incremento asciende al 10.1%, con 151,958 turistas m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Del total de turistas, el 13.4% correspondi\u00f3 a dominicanos no residentes, segmento que creci\u00f3 un 6.7% respecto al mismo per\u00edodo de 2025, pasando de 207,774 a 221,671 personas. Entre los turistas extranjeros, tres mercados concentran la mayor parte del flujo: Estados Unidos, con 719,041 turistas (43.6% del total) y un crecimiento de 5.7%; Canad\u00e1, con 348,471 (21.1%) y un aumento de 10.7%; y Argentina, con 105,787 (6.4%), que exhibe el mayor dinamismo con un crecimiento de 16.8%. En conjunto, estos tres mercados explican el 71.1% del total de turistas recibidos en el per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En cuanto al mes de febrero de 2026 espec\u00edficamente, la llegada de turistas ascendi\u00f3 a 824,172, un 11.7% por encima de lo registrado en el mismo mes de 2025. Los cruceristas, por su parte, totalizaron 360,730 pasajeros, con un crecimiento de 17.6%, el mayor ritmo de expansi\u00f3n entre los segmentos registrados. Vale precisar que los turistas son quienes llegan y pernoctan en el pa\u00eds, principalmente por v\u00eda a\u00e9rea, mientras que los cruceristas desembarcan por unas horas sin alojarse en el territorio nacional, por lo que se contabilizan por separado.
